B5G/6G Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC)

Minimum requirements:

• Problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of radio propagation / antennas
• Knowledge of networking / network architectures
• Programming skills

Development plan during the internship: Familiarization with the following technologies and concepts:

• 5G and IoT networks (architectures, practical implementations in the 5G Lab, equipment)
• Applications for 5G/IoT networks
• Virtualization technologies
• Radar systems
• AI/ML systems for processing radio data for sensing purposes

Field for the bachelor’s thesis: Implementation/simulation of a B5G system for detecting non-connected objects (sensing)
